Neil Peart
John Bonham
Steve Smith
Dave Weckl
Buddy Rich
Johnny Rab
Jojo Mayer
Steve Gadd
Tony Royster Jr
Danny Carey

Thats my list of great drummers... I am not a big heavy metal fan and the only drummer in the Hard Rock/Metal Genre that I dont think is over hyped is Danny Carey. The guy has odd time signatures down and has great technique unlike most drummers who just have alot of speed like Joey Jordison... but thats my opinion.

Thats really hard for me... You see they all do things that I try to take and use in the style I play. I can tell you that John Bonham probably influences me the most, but I also do stuff like Rab and Mayer. Peart is an influence for me because of how busy he is in his playing yet he is still the pocket beat for the band. Something I like to do in certain songs of my band.

If I have to pick one it would be Bonham though... but probably cause thats the style of music I play alot of.

My top three influences are as follows:

1. Neil Peart
2. Buddy Rich
3. Mike Portnoy

Other than these three, I'm influenced pretty much the same by every drummer I hear.

For every fifty words I type, I have to correct twelve typos. I corrected thirteen typing this.

I don't actually have the set or cymbals that I want. I just put my favorites.
