Ah I have been waiting for this playalong to come back. I literally sit in awe every time I watch you play it. I wish they would stop doing so much camera tricks though and just focus more on your playing.

Hey Jared, great drumming on this track.
I just wanted to ask, what ride cymbal are you using here? I loved that bright resonant response it gave on this video.

--------------------
Zildjian K - 20" Ride cymbal, 16" Crash cymbal, 14" Hi-Hat, 12" Splash cymbal, 8" splash cymbal.
All that I will ever need.

Easy peasy.. I know this really awesome funk beat.. it is pretty complicated but it is AWESOME, if I do a video lesson would you feature it on the forum or something?

It actually is a lot simpler than it sounds. It's just an accented single paradiddle played as 16th note triplets.

I love this video! The funk song is whicked. I downloaded it and practiced to it, then recorded it with (with my drum mics and stuff). I was really hoping I could find a version without the click (like you had in your video) for the final cut. That would be great! I'll definitely show you when its done.

Sorry man...Can't do it now...I'd have to open up the old files and do another mix/master. It would end up costing me a couple hundred bucks...sorry.

YouTube Video -> Original Video

I covered this song. The quality of the recording is not as good D: but I think I did ok.
