Are you standing close to the edge? Look out to the setting sun, the brink of your vision. Eternal youth is a landscape of a lie. The cracks in my skin can prove, as the years will testify. Say your prayers and light a fire, we're gonna start a war. Your slogan's a gun for hire, it's what we waited for. This is why we're on the edge. Nah..you can play any groove to that...you don't have to play what I did...Just a simple 4/4 beat.

Welcome tellezluis!
Are you asking about the MP3 file? It does appear to have gotten cut off in mid-song.

I like watching the pros doing these play alongs, it gives me great ideas for fills and accent techniques. Thanks for putting these up Jared and Crew, they are very useful.

Love it, Jared.

Uhm, Question.

The fill at 1:36, you teach us that in the bass drum secrets package right? Cause I like that fill and plan on picking that package up at sometime in the future.

Yes, that is taught in the Bass Drum Secrets Pack.

That is quite a basic fill as it only uses a single kick pedal. There are some more complex double bass fills in the BDS pack as well.

Jared you were soooo showing off with some of those licks! Ha ha, and why not. Seriously the only way to describe that was funk-EH.

I really like the funk stuff, any chance of posting another funk play along?

Also outta interest, what sizes were the two crashes you had on that kit? I loved the difference in sound between the two. Complemented each other great.

Edit: I have tried to download the mp3 for this play-along a few times. It appears it cuts off early, even by playing the track in my browser. It stops after 1:22, can someone else please confirm this?

Hey,

Sorry about the delayed response. The 2 crashes were a 17" Zildjian Medium Thin Crash and a 16" Zildjian K Dark Crash.

I have to get Rick to re-upload the song for download. That must have been a corrupt file or something. Soon as he re-uploads it should work fine.
