hy....iam new here.... and i so glad that i can join the forum....
sory if my english not good,...cuz iam from indonesia....
i wanna ask u a something,...its so basic
now i was practicing a basic jazz drum beats,..ive seen ur video basic jazz drum beat...can u tell me,..the tempo that u playing at the video lessons...or where i hv to started?...

They sound like about 80 BPM, but start at whatever speed you need to get the groove solid.
You don't need to start at any particular tempo, and they can be played much faster than the demos.

Heya people,

Just a quick little issue with the 5/4 Swing beats. I can view the video easily, however when I attempt to view the sheet music in either PDF or flashpaper form it displays a 404 error page. Wondering if anybody could get the sheet music for me and attach to their post, or see if you could fix it without too much trouble Jared? Thanks in advance,

If we compared to other drumming method Jazz is really little bit complicated and differs in tempo. Jazz can be played in any tempo like 2/4, 3/4, 6/8 and even 5/4. As jazz are fast in tempo so all drummers should try to speed up with their sticks.
