In this lesson, I'm having trouble mastering the part where you play double strokes on everything but the accents. Any tips on getting this figured out?

Yes, when I first started doing that I practiced it in super slow motion; actually doing each stroke with my wrists...Eventually, I got the muscle memory and was able to go between accents and doubles. Another exercise you can work on is just 16th note singles into 32nd note doubles. There's really no end to how much you can practice that.
