This video was very useful to me. The last beat in this video sounded like the x-fill pattern.

Pure Hatred by Chiamaira; the intro sounds awesome and it's easy to play.

even the beginning of Enter Sandman is a good beat to use

Are you standing close to the edge? Look out to the setting sun, the brink of your vision. Eternal youth is a landscape of a lie. The cracks in my skin can prove, as the years will testify. Say your prayers and light a fire, we're gonna start a war. Your slogan's a gun for hire, it's what we waited for. This is why we're on the edge. The fight of our lives been drawn to this undying love.

There's a killer tom beat in this song:
YouTube Video -> Original Video

The opening to Enemy by Disturbed has a cool tom beat. There some other songs with toms beats I can't remember :|

This lesson was very helpful for me. I really enjoy beats #2 and #5.

I have beat #5 pretty well, but while learning this one I hit my hand a few times when going to the floor tom on the a of 2 and 4. I thought (incorrectly) that maybe I was supposed to go left hand OVER right hand. So I actually started doing that for the rest of my practice session. Now after I have viewed the video again I see Jared does do left hand under right hand. This can be pretty scarry at 120 bpm if you hit your hand!

Does anyone have advice on when to go over vs under? Over is safer, but under is faster.

Just thought I'd throw this out there...
The intro to "Youth of the Nation" by P.O.D and beat 2 sound similar.

I have have been able to put to good use alot of info from all over the site. I like playing many differant tom beats. If i could request some in (tom beats) 6/8 time or with use of different rudiments. As im guilty of being stuck in a rut of using the same beats for multiple songs.
