Is the first double stroke considered a 32nd note?, I assume its played faster than the second double stroke (that makes up the diddle) Also when you do the diddle part is it a bounce roll (I think moeller (sp?)) where you use no extra fingers, a double with fingers or just 2 single strokes?

Thanks

the first drag is kind of a ghost note, as i understand it. just a quick double stroke then back to normal notes. so i guess you could say it could be considered a 32nd note, tho im not that sure...

Yeah you've pretty much got it, you play the first double as 32nd notes (twice as fast) and ghost it (if necessary). I wrist out all the other strokes because I haven't got my diddles up fast enough to just use fingers for the second double.
