Flams are great, a good thing to do is use them in intros, eg
DRUM TABS HH|----------------|x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-|- SD|F---F---F---F---|----o-------o---|- BD|--o---o---o---o-|o---------o-----|- 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + etc and then take the flam around the kit |

Ummm theres not a thread for the Flam drum excerisise in the Dynamic drumming section and I think the sheet music and video are mixed up or something.
