Hey Everyone
Usually when we see hand to feet combination is in some type of fill idea like quads between feet and hands. It would be cool to expand on those ideas and see how we can work our hi-hat foot in this situation. For instance, while doing linear 16th notes between hands and right foot, add the hi-hat foot to it, but not just with the usual quarter notes and 8th notes. Use some broken up 16th notes, some 32nd notes between the strokes done with the hands and feet, and also how about some polyrhythm like playing 3, 5 and 7 (or broken 3,5 and 7) while doing the quads between the hands and right foot. Afer the right foot could trade places with the left foot, and this way we would do hand to feet combinations between the hi-hat foot and hands, while the bass drum foot woulb be doing what the left foot was doing (broken 16th, 32nd, 3, 5 ,7...etc)
Instead of using only hi-hat foot this could be taken even further by adding some hi-hat foot splashing to the mix. With quarter note splashing, 8th note and broken 16th notes.
Like many have stated, rudiments would be killer on this lesson. I would suggest the 5 stroke roll and the 6 stroke roll (for 16th note triplet applications), besides the paradiddle. Whenever I think of 16th note triplets and hand to feet combination, Aaron Spears always comes to mind....check this awesome fill out:

Even best, you guys could gives us some ideas in HOW can we develop a linear type of playing, maybe some exercises, further reading resources, etc.
Well I guess that is all...FOR NOW!!!

take care gentleman

and see you all tomorrow
