There is smt wrong with the first exercise..
The written document is based on 4/4 time but he plays with 3/4 time....

Hi friends! I have a question. I donīt exactly understand why in drum notation isnīt written the crash cymbal note when Lionel plays the fills. Thanks in advance for replies.

This is only my opinion as a beginner myself,so, since it's hard (impossibe) on any rudiment to count the beats when going fast, I think that after time and practice,one can go by how the roll sounds,same for most that use doubles or triples in their makeup,actually all (single strokefour,seven,etc). Just my 2 cents! Huck

well the crash is on the start of beat 1 after the fill but when he plays it the very first time he doesnt start of and hit the crash with hi hat and bass drum he starts of with just hu hat and bass drum
