Jep, you forgot it. Too bad as it looks like the climax of this pretty good lesson. I can play the final beat 90% though xD

Hi Jared! What tempo do you use in this video? It seems to me like 100 beats per minute but I´m not sure. Thanks a lot!

I am not sure on the exact tempo used. Most exercises are between 100 - 120. I would recommend starting them at what's most comfortable with you. The slower your start the better.

Thanks a lot! Most comfortable for me is about 50-60 beats per minute.

I have squat in the way of music theory, but either a decrescendo is returning back down to "normal" volume from above average (ie. a crescendo), and a diminuendo is taking normal volume and reducing to less than normal, or if that isn't it, they must synonyms.

I don't know either, but for drums it has always been crescendo/decrecendo. As for volume Poco expained it.

that's the way I read it. Also goes into aspects of dynamic range from soft (piano) to loud (forte) and how they aren't a given point but a relative thing, i think wacko.gif

Hehe, I have always called decrescendo diminuendo because my piano teacher has. However now that I know of this easier, more memorable word (albeit harder to spell wink.gif ) I believe I will use decrescendo now instead of diminuendo. I hated typing that laugh.gif...
