Practice With Real Bands Using These Drum Play-Alongs!
Welcome to the drum play-along section of FreeDrumLessons.com. Here you will have the opportunity to play along with professional band tracks that have the drum parts removed! Better still, each of the lessons include a video with the original drummer playing his parts. This way, you can see some examples of beats and fills that work within the song. Then, it's up to you to take what you've learned in our various drum lessons, and come up with drum parts of your own.
Sterr - Rock Play-Along #1 - This video play-along features Sterr's song "Ever Done Before" as performed by Dean Reimer. Start by watching Dean on video, and then download the audio-only version that has all the drum-tracks removed. You can either play similar beats to Dean, or come up with patterns of your own.

Sterr - Rock Play-Along #7- This video lesson features the Sterr song "Better Now" as performed by Dean Reimer. Watch Dean play, then see what you can come up with on your own kit. But be careful, staying on time with this song can be tricky, so keep an eye on your metronome.
Jared Falk - Funk Play-Along #1- This video play-along features Jared Falk playing a Funk track originally composed by Nathan Bosch. Start by watching Jared to get some ideas of what can be played with this song, and then download the audio-only version that has all the drum-tracks removed.
Mike Michalkow - Funk Play-Along #2- This video play-along features Mike Michalkow playing a funk song originally composed by Brent Ellis. Here Mike plays with a full band including Damien Erskine on the bass. Listen to Damien's bass line and try to co-ordinate your drumming to his playing.
Cowboys & Indians - Folk Rock Play-Along #1- This folk rock play-along features the Cowboys & Indians' song "Visiting Hours" as performed by Sam Heard. You can start by watching Sam play in the video, and then download the audio-only version that has all the drum-tracks removed.
